Not an exchange, broker, or custodian
We are not registered as, and do not operate as, a cryptocurrency exchange, broker-dealer, money services business, money transmitter, investment adviser, or custodian in any jurisdiction. We sell physical hardware and merchandise. We never take possession of customer assets.
You hold the keys — and the risk
Engrave 0 is a self-custody device. Private keys and recovery phrases are generated and held by you alone. BitKeyShop cannot access, recover, restore, freeze, or move anything stored on a device we sold, and no support request can change that. Losing both your device and your recovery plate means permanent, irreversible loss of access to the assets they protect.
Risks of digital assets
Cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and other digital assets are volatile and speculative. Their value can fall to zero. They are not deposits, are not insured by the FDIC, SIPC, or any comparable body, and are not backed by any government. Regulatory treatment varies by country and changes. You are responsible for determining whether owning them is lawful where you live and for meeting your own tax obligations.
No guarantee of security
Hardware wallets substantially reduce risk; they do not eliminate it. No device, including ours, can protect against every attack — particularly ones that involve you being deceived into approving a transaction or revealing your recovery phrase. Security also depends on how you set up, verify, and store the device and its backup.
Product information
We work to keep specifications, images, and pricing accurate, but errors happen, and we reserve the right to correct them, including after an order is placed. Product images are illustrative. Firmware features may change over the life of the product.

This site may link to third-party resources for reference. We don't control them, don't endorse them, and aren't responsible for their content, security, or practices. The same applies to any third-party wallet software you choose to pair with the device.
Impersonation warning
No BitKeyShop employee will ever ask for your recovery phrase, private keys, PIN, or passphrase, by any channel, for any reason. Anyone who does is attempting to steal from you. Our only support addresses are the email and phone number listed on the contact page.
