These terms govern your use of bitkeyshop.com and any purchase made through it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. What we provide
BitKeyShop sells physical goods: the Engrave 0 hardware wallet, its included titanium recovery plate and punch kit, and branded apparel and drinkware. Our sole role is that of a retailer of hardware and merchandise.
2. What we do not provide
We are not an exchange, broker-dealer, custodian, money services business, money transmitter, or investment adviser. We do not buy, sell, exchange, trade, swap, stake, lend, or otherwise transact in any cryptocurrency, NFT, token, or other digital asset on your behalf or at all. No part of this site or the products sold on it facilitates such activity.
3. Self-custody and your responsibility
Engrave 0 is a self-custody device. You alone generate, hold, and control your private keys and recovery phrase. We never receive, store, escrow, or have any technical ability to access them. It follows that:
- If you lose your device and your recovery plate, your assets are permanently unrecoverable — by you, by us, or by anyone.
- If you disclose your recovery phrase to another person, they can take your assets, and we cannot reverse it.
- You are responsible for verifying transaction details on the device screen before approving them.
- You are responsible for storing your recovery plate securely and separately from the device.
4. Orders, pricing, and availability
Prices are listed in US dollars and may change without notice. We may refuse or cancel an order — including after it is placed — where there is a pricing or description error, suspected fraud, a sanctions or export restriction, or stock is unavailable. If we cancel, you receive a full refund.
5. Authenticity
We sell direct only. Devices bought from third-party marketplaces, resellers, or auction sites are outside our supply chain, carry no warranty from us, and may be compromised. Always check the tamper seal on arrival, and contact us before setting up a device if the seal is broken or the packaging looks wrong.
6. Warranty
Engrave 0 carries a two-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, covering repair or replacement of the hardware. It does not cover physical damage, water damage, unauthorised modification, or loss of assets under any circumstances. Merchandise is covered for 30 days against manufacturing defects.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BitKeyShop is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of cryptocurrency, NFTs, digital assets, profits, or data, however caused. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use the site to break the law, infringe our or anyone's intellectual property, scrape it at a scale that degrades service, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it. We may suspend access for any of the above.
9. Intellectual property
The BitKeyShop name, logo, site design, text, and images are ours or used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without written consent. Open-source firmware components are licensed separately under their own terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; the version in effect when you place an order governs that order. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
